Sarina: I knew you were a ho. You’re just like your mother.

I tossed my phone on the bed after reading more messages my ex best friend sent. She’s been sending them for the last two weeks and even though I haven’t responded, they keep coming. I feel as if the things she’s saying about my mother is somethings she’s wanted to say for a while and held it in. How did she even know things about my mom anyway because I sure didn’t tell her.

I tossed the covers back and took my time standing. The gash from the glass table was deeper than we thought and actually hit a nerve. I had over forty stitches and the doctor made me stay for two days. He didn’t want any infection to seep in and he claims for observation. I didn’t mind and it gave me time to relax after everything.

Rahsaan was there the entire time and as bad as I wanted to be mad, I couldn’t. I truly believed he had no idea who Sarina was or the fact she was a minor. He didn’t say it but I knew for a fact, he’s going to make it his business to get rid of her. I wanna feel sad but how can I when she tricked him. It’s so many young girls out here tryna be grown, I’m not surprised he was unaware. Shit, half the time, I assume girls to be older than me and it’s the other way around.

“Have you spoken to him since yesterday?” Rahsaan’s mom asked putting the food she cooked on a plate. She’s been extremely helpful, and I appreciate her a lot. It’s not as if I can depend on my own mother. The bitch talked Sunny into going there and pimped her out to some guy. My hate for Star grew deeper each day.

“No.” I wanted to dig deeper into him and Sarina and he didn’t. Rah brought me home from the hospital and I haven’t seen him since.

I wasn’t tryna be a nag but Sarina seemed very distraught over it and I can’t ignore the fact she claimed they were intimate the week before. I don’t even care what happened prior to our relationship but I’m very concerned about if he did it while we were in one.

“He misses you Moony.”

“We were together at the hospital.”

“It’s not the same honey. You two were waking up to each other.” I slowly sat at the table.

“I know and I miss him too. It’s just the things Sarina said hurt and then he refused to discuss it. Of course, I don’t want details of their sexual life but he has the right to tell me if they’ve slept together during our time.” I bowed my head and said grace. She waited for me to finish before talking.
